United States Geological Survey (USGS) - An ECHO team has been fulfilling Federal Government bulk mailing contracts and public information requests since 1981. At USGS the ECHO team offers a broad range of services including reading and decoding map orders, locating requested publications, determining recipients’ names and addresses, typing labels, clerical duties, and meeting USGS’ deadlines for customers’ requests. As of March 2001, these workers have additional responsibilities for managing the supply room for The Earth Science Information Center. This is one of ECHO’s NISH (contracts established through the Javits-Wagner-O’Day Act. Our team enjoys being incorporated in this professional, diverse government workplace.
