LIFE Day Support

ECHO’s LIFE Department is dedicated to fostering skill development, independence, and personal growth in a supportive, engaging environment. Staff members provide individualized support, encouraging participants to set goals, explore their interests, and develop skills that promote independence and confidence. Whether through practicing teamwork, enhancing creativity, or strengthening social interactions, the LIFE Department empowers participants to thrive.

The ECHO LIFE Day Support Program offers life and employment skills training to adults with disabilities. LIFE Day Support serves as a bridge program, helping individuals transition to employment or strengthen their independence and self-confidence, based on their personal goals. Through a combination of structured group and individual activities, participants enhance skills in daily living, safety, communication, decision-making, self-advocacy, and other areas. Community integration is a priority for this program; weekly trips into the community help us to be successful in achieving this goal. Some of our day trip locations include the library, Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA), A Place to Be for music appreciation, The Air and Space Museum, and several other fun and educational venues.
